Selling my beloved 2003 Subaru Forester.
The important stuff:
* 2.5l flat-four engine w/automatic transmission
* Subaru symmetrical AWD
* XS trim - factory remote starter, heated cloth seats, 6-disc CD changer, fog lights, power windows/locks, air conditioning (all working)
* 280937 km (mostly highway, but everyone says that)
* Timing belt/water pump replaced at ~240000km, next service interval is 120000km from now
* Head gaskets & pistons dealer-replaced at ~242000km
* Brand new (less than 100km) front/rear brakes and rotors
* Thule cargo carrier included at asking price (negotiable)
* Sask car since new, clean title w/no accidents reported to SGI (VIN available on request)
The good:
* MASSIVE cargo space - I've hauled 3 friends, their camping gear, and their coolers to Douglas provincial park with the included Thule cargo carrier
* A tank of gas will go ~400km+ on a $50 fill
* I've never gotten stuck in the snow
* Oil changes, recommended maintenance, etc. all professionally done & supported with 2011-2015 receipts
* Never hooned, never driven sideways
* Selling this car because I bought another Subaru Forester
The not-so-good:
* There's a wee little dent on the back driver's side rear door (pictured) that comes with a funny story
* About ½" of surface rust forming on the passenger's side wheel well (also pictured) that doesn't come with a funny story
* Assorted small paint nicks from our wonderful Saskatchewan highways
* 280937 km. The upside: head gaskets were replaced ~38000km ago, and regular maintenance and other service performed since then.
